You will be trained by some of the UK's most experienced journalists who really know how to bring out the best in you.
First Call Media's founders, Julian Bishop and Rhian Morgan, have worked across TV, radio and print and really know how to both challenge and support their clients.
They are both experienced TV, radio and newspaper journalists who now work as trainers with a wide variety of clients.
They have a pool of journalists, trainers and cameramen to call on and also work with presentation experts and voice coaches.
They have trained spokespeople from more than two hundred organisations, from FTSE-100 companies to Government departments and from multi-national companies to small charities. Most of their work is in London but they have worked across Europe, in the Far East, India and in Africa.
The methodology is simple – they always seek to build confidence in delegates by giving as much practical experience as possible of being interviewed by journalists. Each interview is recorded or filmed and then played back for constructive feedback.
The courses have been described as the best you can buy … supportive and fun … and the most worthwhile training session I have ever attended.
All courses are individually designed ... before each session the trainers will take a brief from you, research the areas you want to talk about and write cues to be used in TV and radio interviews.
After the session, each delegate and the course organiser will receive a copy of all broadcast interviews, along with individual feedback reports, highlighting strengths and areas for development, along with a media handbook and a tips card.
